Welcome Carb Addicts

Welcome to my blog, I'm Brian and I'm the Carb Addiction Coach. I've lifted weights most of my adult lift when I was in my early 40's started getting into powerlifting and strongman. I exercised a ton, but cared very little about diet. In October 2016, I was feeling so bad I finally went to the doctor. I always viewed myself as big and strong, but I was over 35% body fat, and I was diabetic. My doctor said that it was possible to deal with it through diet, but that difficult and most people choose to take meds. The meds made me feel like crap, so I started doing research and decided to cut out all grains and added sugar from my diet. Long story short, in 90 days I was down about 45 pounds, and my bloodwork was improved enough to get my doctors support in not taking meds. In October 2017 I was down 110 pounds and now 6 years later I've kept it all off. I'm in the best health and physical shape of my life, I know first hand how horrible diabetes makes you feel, and also what it takes to over come it and I'm here to tell you it's well worth the effort, and I want to help.
